Barbara Superiore

$0.00

Dezzani

VARIETAL: Barbera 100%

VINEYARD: Produced in the Asti area.

WINEMAKING: This special Barbera was created to celebrate the 80 years of production and trade of the great Piedmontese wines of the historic Dezzani winery, founded in 1934. Conceived with the 2011 vintage, a great year to symbolise the tradition and passion that has been transmitted through three generations in the iconic wine of Monferrato. The enologist Luigi Dezzani has meticulously curated its evolution : from winemaking to aging for 24 months in historical barrels. It then follows further refinement in the bottle, making this wine a real and special experience.

TASTING NOTES: Ruby red color, tending to garnet with aging. The bouquet is intense, complex and elegant characterized by pleasant spicy notes and red fruit. The taste is full, round and persistent.

FOOD PAIRING: Great with all the typical courses of the Piedmont’s cusine. Ideal with agnolotti del plin, meat braised in Barbera and castelmagno’s cheeses.

TECHNICAL NOTES: Serve at 18° - 22°C (64°-71°F), Aging potential of at least 10 years.
